Feb 13, 2014 Looking at a used Glock 19 Gen 4, I'm curious about when it was made. The serial number should be WWF878 (from the sale tag, not the pistol-I went back without much time and didn't handle it when I got the SN.) I thought it would be fairly easy to find the date of manufacture with that information, but all I've been able to find are the 'research' thread on Glocktalk and mirrors of that. The GLOCK 19 Gen4 pistol in 9 mm Luger offers great firepower while allowing to shoot quick and accurately. It is ideal for a more versatile role due to its reduced dimensions, without sacrificing all-important magazine capacity.

Contacting Glock for Date of Manufacture.
A Iittle fast back tale. I'meters switching personal property insurance plan businesses at the finish of the 30 days, and the brand-new company needs makes, versions, serial figures, and date óf manufacture for weapons. Obviously, makes, versions, and serial quantities are easy.
The times of manufacture requires a little bit of function. Mostly just emails to the producers, to which nearly all have replied, like Glock (within 24 hours no less, which is definitely great).
What gets me about the Glock procedure is usually a few of items: First, their “contact us” type is generally a “per firearm” type of type, which indicates I experienced to fill out most of the same info several times. I'meters a systems guy, therefore I get it, that's their system. I just put on't like it. Second, of the 4 independent demands I sent, 3 of them arrived back again with the exact same date of manufacturé (10/2016), and 1 came back again as (01/2016). Not a one response indicated which pistol it has been mentioning to. Granted, 3 of them are Gen 4's i9000, and 1 will be a Gary the gadget guy43. Nevertheless, each and every one was purchased at least multiple weeks (if not much longer) aside, at 3 various locations, all at very least 100 miles from each various other. What are usually the odds, that 3 of my Glocks were all made in the same month, and the additional was produced in a month that simply happens to become numbered as like, that it'h transposed of thé othérs?
l decided to give the man a mulligan.simply so occurs, I bought my fifth Glock (H17 Gen4) the afternoon after I sent the email messages. I made a decision to answer to the Glock repetition's final reaction, and explained that I required to know which dates proceeded to go with which weapon, and “oh yéah, by the method, here's the information for another 1 I just purchased, can I possess the info on that one as well make sure you?” I then detailed each gun and it's serial amount and strike sénd.
l debated on whéther or not really to actually blog post this here (yet), but the more I thought about it, the even more pissed I got. I understand, I'm asking Glock to proceed out of their way to give me info. I would've ended up far less troubled with a solitary response that said “we wear't supply that info”, ór “there's á $10 fee” (ala Ruger). It's i9000 disrespectful to simply send out back some amounts that indicate little or nothing at all.although I imagine it's possible they all have that exact same date, and if they do I need to proceed purchase a lotto solution.because what are usually the chances? At any price, rant ovér.
